  • "After 18 months, Will kept asking how we could improve my training experience. He never takes me for granted. My least favourite thing (and this one is probably one of my personal demons) is that I don't like trying new things. However, from day one, Will saw potential.

    For instance, I remember squats being one of my weakest points. I didn't like to train legs, and I wanted to skip leg day all the time. But now, the squat has become my strongest move. I know firsthand that Will knows how to turn weaknesses into strengths.

    I keep coming for more at the WIARFIT studio because I'm still learning. I'm coming to the point where, even if I could train solo, I choose not to. I feel confident training by myself whenever i need to fly away, and that's a great outcome, but again, I still need to learn more from Will.

    Sometimes, we focus on mechanics; sometimes, we do volume or heavy weights; and sometimes, we work on mobility and flexibility or concentrate on core work.

    I can now manage big weights, but doing it right and minimising injury risk (given that I'm now 38 as well) definitely requires structure, methodology, and safety. So, I'm glad Will delivers all of that. He looks after me by giving sensible advice and guiding me through the whole process of making my gains sustainable, which explains my patience with his poor dad jokes :)"
